Hi there!

Megan Sim is a Singapore-born actress of Chinese ethnicity based in New York City. She is currently finishing her BFA in Drama at New York University, training under Atlantic Acting School. She also has a second major in Media, Culture and Communications and a minor in Entertainment Business!

Megan first fell in love with performing through her dance recitals, and when she joined her school’s drama club when she was 9, the rest was history. For high school, she attended School of the Arts Singapore for its theatre track before moving to New York City to attend Tisch Drama. Recently, she acted in The Trojan Women by Euripides as Helen, and The Trial of Ubu by Simon Stephens as Ma Ubu, both at Atlantic Acting School. With every performance, Megan’s goal is to create art that is bold, unafraid, and impactful. As her favourite acting teacher once said, “Theater exists to remind audiences what it feels like to be alive.”

When she’s not acting, Megan can be found rewatching How to Get Away with Murder, coming up with new and delicious coffee concoctions in her kitchen, and intently solving the daily NYT crossword.
